Durrani Popal relocating to Los Angeles after graduating with the intention of making herself famous there. The job she was offered was the head of DASH's merchandising boutique located in Calabasas. The DASH store in Calabasas, California was relocated to West Hollywood (California) in 2012. The store that was temporarily located located in Southampton, New York opened it's doors to the public in 2014. While working at the shop was when she appeared on "Kourtney and Khloe go to the Hamptons", a spin-off. The producers initially thought they would introduce DASH's employees to determine the reaction of the public to the spin-off. Popal's co-workers and Popal were cast in the 'Dash Dolls TV series'. Durrani Popal is often called Kim Kardashian's"lookalike. Popal is greatly influenced by Kim's fashion and considers her an inspiration. She does, however, admire Khloe Kardashian and particularly her way she handled a difficult affair with her husband Lamar Odom.
