April Bowlby is an American actress and model. She's portrayed Kandi in her role on the CBS comedy Two and a Half Men, Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva and Rita Farr in Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby is an American actor best famous for her character Stacy Barrett in the American fictional drama series Drop Dead Diva and Kandi in the show Two and a Half Men. Her modeling career started with modeling, and then she was able to make her way into films and television series. Her debut appearance on the small screen was as an extra in the show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation then single-episode roles on other TV shows. For Two and a Half Men she was cast as Kandi. Bowlby is gaining worldwide fame for her portrayal of Stacy Barrett, in the hit TV show Drop Dead Diva. Bowlby played Rita Farr/Elastigirl on the American web-based series Titans. She will be reprising her role as a spinoff character from the Doom Patrol series. Bowlby was also seen on TV in movies like Sands of Oblivion, The Wrong Daughter and Sands of Oblivion 2. Her debut on big screens came with the film All Roads Lead Home and later appeared in other movies including The Slammin Salmon and From Prada to Nada. Bowlby moved to Manteca in her early years. After completing ballet classes as well as French in Moorpark College, Bowlby decided to embark on a professional acting career. She worked with Ivana Chaubbuck, and was offered her a role on a tv series (Kandi, Two and a Half Men) which was a couple of weeks before having her Hollywood audition. Bowlby has been on numerous TV series including CSI in 2004 as Kaitlin Rackish in 2004 CSI: NY as Jenny Lee in 2005 Freddie as Sydney and Stacked in 2005 with Jasmine in 2005 and How I Met Your Mother as Meg in the year 2007. Bowlby appeared as Natasha Recently, she was in All Roads Lead Home, the 2007 film about an 11-year-old girl with a mother gone after a car crash. Bowlby has been cast in a comedy film due for release in 2008 movie The Slammin Salmon as Mia. The actress lives in Los Angeles. She is a redhead, with blue eyes. She was never married, and has have no children.
