Ariel Winter is an American actor, singer and actor. She was born Ariel Winter Workman in Los Angeles California on January 28, 1998. Ariel began her acting career from a young age. The actress was in the Cool Whip ad when she was just six years old. She landed her first television performance at the age of seven on an episode of CBS comedy Listen Up!. Monk Bones followed, as did ER. Gretchen was a character on the role of Phineas and Ferb on the Disney Original Channel animated show Phineas and Ferb in 2007. Two years later she had her breakout live-action role in the role of Alex Dunphy on the hit TV show Modern Family. Along with her fellow cast members, she was awarded four Screen Actors' Guild Awards for their Outstanding Ensemble Performance in a Comedy Series. Ariel is still doing voice-over for films like ParaNorman Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, as well as Scooby-Doo! Stage Fear. Ariel is a purple belt in Taekwondo.
