Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is a American writer, singer and actress best known for playing Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. Her stage work began in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. She continued to perform in various Broadway productions, before becoming famous in the national stage scene with Li'l Abner's in the year 1957. Her album, It's Too Late for Tina the in the same year. Louise was first seen on the screen in Hollywood as God's Little Acre a drama released in 1958. She played Griselda the main character of the film. During this time, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her instructor. Another notable character she portrayed was Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her for in 1964. Louise continued to juggle her acting career across Broadway television and Hollywood acting in more realistic roles as in contrast to her portrayal of herself as a glamorous woman. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1, and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Recently, she's also become the most sought-after director for popular television shows like Supernatural as well as The 100. She was born in Essex on August 28th 1965. She and her family moved to Toronto when she was three which is where she spent the rest of in the adolescent years and childhood. Her home was in Vancouver when she was chosen for the role of Samantha Carter.
