Zoe-perry
Perry is the daughter of actors Laurie Metcalf, and Jeff Perry. She made her first appearances in the television screen as Jackie Harris, a character that was played by her mother on her role on the ABC comedy Roseanne. Fearing stress, her parents did not want to see performing before she reached the age of 18. Perry claims she never wanted to be an actor in highschool but decided to start performing as a form of social interaction at Northwestern University when she switched from Boston University. Perry was able to land small TV roles in Law & Order: Criminal Intent after she graduated. However, her homesickness caused her to move to California and she returned performing in the stage. She performed on Broadway as a part of The Other Place with her mother in 2013. In 2015, she performed with her father and Kevin McKidd in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning play Anna Christie on the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in West Los Angeles. Perry was in nine episodes of the ABC thriller The Family in 2016. In 2017, Perry had a minor role on ABC's thriller about politics Scandal that starred her father. The actress also portrayed in the role of a older Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon - which is a CBS spin-off of The Big Bang Theory. The actress was chosen for the role despite her close relationship with the character's family.
