Adelaide Clemens

Brisbane, Australia is my birthplace and where I was raised. Daughter of a British father. Clemens her acting career began at the age of her high school. She guest-starred in a 2006 episode of Blue Water High as Juliet and in 2007 she starred in the series for kids Pirate Islands: The Lost Treasure of Fiji as Alison. Clemens played Harper on her role on the Showtime drama Love My Way that year and was nominated for a Graham Kennedy Award for Most Outstanding New Talent at the 2008 Logie Awards for the role. Clemens played the role in Dream Life (2008), a dramatic MTV Networks Australia film. The film starred Sigrid Thornton Xavier, a character played by Linda Cropper Andrew McFarlane. The following year, Clemens became the new model for Jan Logan jewelery. Clemens moved from California to Los Angeles in the year 2009. Clemens played the role as Xandrie (Wasted on the Young) in the film Wasted on the Young. Clemens appeared in Camilla Dickinson with Gregg Sulkin and Cary Elwes. Samantha Mathis also appeared. The film was a re-imagining of the 1951 novel of the same name by young-adult writer Madeleine L'Engle.She portrayed teenager Heather Mason in Silent Hill: Revelation 3D. The Silent Hill 3 sequel was an adaptation to the Silent Hill 3 horror videogame. Clemens was cast as Valentine Wannop a young suffragette. Clemens was in the 2012 horror film The film No One Lives starring Luke Evans. In 2013, Clemens was in The Great Gatsby, based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel of the same name. Catherine Wilson was the younger cousin to Myrtle Wilson portrayed by Isla Fisher. Clemens is Tawney Talbot, the star in Ray McKinnon's 2012 Sundance Channel TV miniseries Rectify. Clemens will also be starring alongside Natalie Dormer Stephen Graham and Zachary Quinto in the independent drama The Girl Who Invented Kissing.
