Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights advocate, writer also a model, actor and author. Her name is well-known for films like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). New York was her home and she grew up in an artistic environment. When she was assistant to photographers She turned her focus towards modeling and acting. Her first two movies her name was acknowledged and was awarded the Golden Globe Award as Most Popular Young Actress. MacGraw's 1970 movie Love Story was an international smash, and earned her an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. After just three short films she was deemed one of the most successful women film in the history of box offices. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater signed her name as well as foot prints, hand prints, and footprints in the year 1972. Additionally, to The Getaway Convoy Players she played a part in the tv miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, was released. MacGraw was married three times.
